Christian marriage biodata format (with sample)
Christian families in India — in Kerala, Goa, Mangaluru, Tamil Nadu, the North-East and across cities — exchange biodatas much like everyone else. The main differences are church details instead of a horoscope, and sometimes a reference from the parish. Here is the full format and a sample.
- Replace the horoscope section with church details: denomination and parish.
- Parish and diocese are useful; a priest’s reference is optional.
- Family, education and career sections work exactly as in any biodata.
- Keep it to one page and share as a PDF.
How it differs from other biodatas
- No horoscope section.
- Church details take its place — denomination, parish and sometimes diocese.
- Sacraments such as baptism and confirmation are sometimes mentioned in Catholic families; they are optional.
- Family details often include the family name or house name in Kerala, and native parish.

Language and sharing
