Jain marriage biodata format (with sample)
Jain families often look for a few specific details in a biodata — sect, diet and family background — alongside the usual personal, education and career information. Here is a complete format with the fields Jain families commonly include, and a filled sample.
- Mention sect (Shwetambar or Digambar) and sub-sect if your family considers it.
- State diet clearly — for example “Jain food (no root vegetables)”.
- Horoscope is included in many families; add it only if yours follows it.
- Family business details are common; describe them without figures.
